Chassis Bracing

Chassis Bracing

Another way to make the whole car stiffer is to make it’s body and chassis stiffer. Making it stiffer will allow for less twisting and flexing and a more solid tactile feel for the driver. This reduces ride comfort over bumps, but reduces the twisting of the body, making for faster and sharper responses of the car and more grip, but less feedback and warning as you reach and go over the limit. Chassis bracing take the form of braces that connect both sides of the chassis under the hood, and the roll cage which is also a safety equipment.

We are working on a guide for chassis bracing! Check back soon!
